If you are a NEW CLIENT and you do not receive an email response from us, then please CHECK YOUR JUNK MAIL. We pencil every booking into our calendar and hold a kennel for your pet once we receive your request (unless we are fully booked, in which case, we will contact you ).

Kindly send us an email at delnortekennels@gmail.com or give us a call at 250-390-3289 if you do not hear back from us within 24 hours. We would also appreciate hearing from you if your plans change, and you would like to cancel your reservation! We often have a waiting list and would like to offer your spot to anther pet needing a kennel.

Please note during our PEAK SEASONS, Del Norte Kennels requires a $25 deposit (per dog) for one night stays. The deposit is to be paid at the time of booking to hold a kennel for your pet.

A $60 deposit (per dog) is due for all stays 2 nights, or longer, during our PEAK SEASONS, which is ALL Holidays & Summer months. Deposits are 100% refundable with two weeks notice (except for Winter Holidays which is non-refundable) and is taken off of your final bill upon pick up.

It is important to note that Del Norte Kennels only has 6 large kennels, plus 1 extra large kennel. We reserve our large kennels for our large breed dogs (over 80 pounds), or for families with multiple medium to large sized dogs. It is important to us that all dogs are boarded in the space that is best suited for their needs. Please request a kennel size that best fits your breed.

SMALL KENNELS - are best suited for dogs up to 60 pounds

MEDIUM KENNELS - are best suited for dogs between 50-80 pounds

LARGE KENNELS - are best suited for dogs over 80 pounds or for multiple medium to large dogs
